Domino Theory publishes in-depth reporting and analysis on the shifting geopolitics of East Asia, with an emphasis on relations between China and Taiwan. We are a gateway for people who are curious about what’s happening in the region and a tool for people to learn more about it, but we also won’t apologize for having an opinion. These issues matter.
What we’re not doing is writing abstract theory that is divorced from the places we’re talking about. Our team is based in Taiwan, and we will engage with the issues from that close-up perspective. The issues we will cover are not a game — they determine the course of millions of people’s lives, and we will cover them on those terms.
